You contact me to set up a first appointment at the office. You explain to me the nature of your dispute with, if possible, all the documents concerned.

 

I will explain the details of the costs and fees incurred and what the procedure is likely to cost. Based on your information, I will then explain your rights and the best procedure to follow to defend yourself.

Do you benefit from legal protection insurance (family civil liability, car insurance, fire, etc.)? This means that my intervention may possibly be covered by your insurance company. I will check for you – free of charge and without obligation on your part – whether the cost of my intervention is covered by the insurance company.

In the absence of legal protection insurance, certain litigants may have access to legal aid.

 

In the absence of the intervention of a third party payer (insurance) and legal aid, the lawyer's costs and fees are discussed from the first consultation.

 

A customer agreement detailing the calculation of these will be sent to you at the end of this consultation. This will cost you €60.50. Follow-up consultations can then be carried out in the office or by videoconference.

 

Provisions are requested at each intermediate stage of the procedure.

 

An increase in fees is provided for emergency services as well as those carried out during nights, weekends and public holidays.

 

Since January 1, 2014, these costs and fees are increased by VAT at the rate of 21%.
